These Electric Cargo Ships Lanterns are beautiful working handcrafted reproductions in heavy antique brass cast hardware of the original oil lanterns. These electric lanterns are fantastic for emergency storm lighting, and do everything the hurricane lanterns do and more.

These antique brass cargo electric lanterns stand 16" tall without the handle and are 9.5" wide. The traditional oil burning pot and wick unit are serviced from the bottom of the lanterns and have been converted into electric fixtures. There is room inside for a full size 60w light bulb. Some the applications that our electric boat lanterns have been used for include, wall lanterns, outdoor lamps, ships wheel chandeliers, exterior lighting on property, ceiling fixtures, and also make a perfect patio/deck electric lamp. You can also choose to mount on your wall with one of our brass wall hangers. The lamp is solid brass construction, not to be confused with cheaper painted or plated models.
