When a large gust of wind tore a shade sail loose and knocked one of the lanterns down, I was devastated when the glass broke. Fortunately, after reaching out to Vermont Lanterns, I was pleased to find out replacement glass was available. The customer service was outstanding and the replacements came quickly, now I back to feeling underway again. For years I had wanted a nice, high quality oil lantern and when recently looking at Vermont Lanterns decided it was time to get one. There were several other smaller oil lamps I ordered as well, and received them a few days ago. I can feel the weight and quality of the lamps. The machining is very good. There is an enormous difference between these and cheap lamps and lanterns I bought in the past. These burn very nice. Am very happy I spent the money on good quality lamps. Hope to have the opportunity to enjoy these for the many years they will last. As I had some questions, I can report the staff at Vermont Lanterns was quick, courteous and helpful. Seems like a small business, but well run. Overall it was an excellent experience, and hopefully in the future I'll be ordering some more.Posted on Google
