Handcrafted Nautical Lantern
These Vermont electric nautical lanterns are handcrafted for a pleasing visual appearance and quality craftsmanship. Our reproductions from popular colonial lamps are set in a heavy brass that stands at 13.5’’ tall and without the handle are 7.25’’ wide. Additionally our maritime lanterns are built strong and are constructed entirely out of brass, each lamp comes with a clear thick glass lens that creates a light arc of 225 degrees, and comes with a silvered reflector inside.
The oil burning pot and wick unit that was serviced from the bottom of the oil lantern has now been converted into an electric lantern. There is room inside for a full size 60w light bulb. Some the applications that our electric lanterns have been used for include, wall lanterns, ships lights, nautical lighting, end table lamps and unique gifts!
They also work great as patio, or deck lanterns. You can also choose to wall mount them on your wall or post. The back is fitted with one thick cast brass mounting bracket which is riveted to the body of the electric lantern for extra support. All hardware is included.
